Born and educated in the Free State, she began her legal career at Rafferty, Van Zyl, Viljoen in Bothaville. After relocating to the Goldfields, she joined BLK Inc. as a secretary. In 2001, she completed part-time studies at UNISA, obtained her LLB degree, and was admitted as an attorney in May 2019. She assists with family law matters. She loves sewing and baking and is involved with youth activities at her church
